KDC purchases Northern Labs

General KDC Knowlton Development Corporation Northern Labs Inc.Canadian firm KDC acquires Wisconsin company in deal to expand its footprint in the North American personal care market.
MONTREAL—Knowlton Development Corporation (KDC)—a contract manufacturer and custom formulator for the consumer goods industry in Canada and internationally offering personal cleansing, body and facial care, fragrance, men’s grooming, hair care and styling, and household care products—is widening its footprint in to the U.S., acquiring Northern Labs Inc. of Manitowoc, Wisc.
Northern Labs also manufactures personal care products from its 275,000-square-foot plant with some 200 employees, and provides KDC with a chance to move into the packaged home and industrial products sectors.
With the closure of the deal, KDC will expand its footprint across Canada and the U.S.
